This started as a BHM idea for USA and SYFY. We wanted to make a small but meaningful overture to join the moment and the conversation around BHM. Recognizing the fact that most black people view having our history relegated to the shortest month of the year as an insult, I thought a cool thing to do was to take a couple days, from January, back. When it was shown around the company the idea spread and became the. basis for the NBCU company-wide 2021 BHM initiative. We created a lot of content quickly. Here’s a sampling.
